THRESHOLD: SIGNAL AT THE EDGE — Central Signal Complex

entral Signal Complex — THRESHOLD: SIGNAL AT THE EDGE

The Central Signal Complex was once the administrative and communication core of the pre-collapse government.
After the Black Relay Event, the building’s upper relay decks and signal ports remain faintly active—emitting irregular light pulses and fragmented data echoes.

Architecturally, the structure merges post-industrial modular massing with brutalist verticality, forming a monument of “residual order.”
Although its civic function has long ceased, the layered pipe networks, sealed maintenance corridors, and obsolete surveillance arrays preserve the illusion of a system still trying to operate.

This environment serves as one of the primary infiltration zones within the world of THRESHOLD.
Players navigate the building through exposed pipe-walls, abandoned lift shafts, and marked traversal points, following remnants of the old world’s signal infrastructure to reach the inner core.
